Endowment Fund
Assistance League of Austin was privileged to have been selected as one of 10 nonprofits to receive an initial challenge grant from Austin Community Foundation (AFC) in 2006 to establish an Endowment Fund with the goal of reaching $100,000 over four years. ACF matched 1 to 4 in dollars, providing $5,000 per year for four years for a total of $20,000 to ALA’s funds of more than $80,000. Austin Community Foundation will manage the investments and Assistance League of Austin may draw from interest dollars as the need arises according to the established guidelines. As of August 2010, the market value for the ALA fund is $116,239.92. We encourage all to continue to support this fund as it will serve the ALA needs for the future.
