Assistance League of Austin
Assistance League of Austin (ALA), a chapter of National Assistance League®, is a nonprofit organization of volunteers dedicated to addressing specific needs through practical and innovative programs. ALA has been serving the Austin community since 1973. An all-volunteer, "hands-on" organization of 386 dedicated members (as of June 2012), it has no paid staff. These volunteers cheerfully gave more than 59,000 hours to serve and fund our nine philanthropic programs.
